Iced tea for me and you!

Happy Sunday!
Here's a recipe to detox your body with a simple drink :)

Ingredients;
-2 bags of tea (I used a strawberry, raspberry and loganberry tea but you can use lemon or mango etc!)
-about 2 cups worth of boiling water (depends on what you're putting it in)
- fruit to garnish
 -ice

Steps;
Place your bag in a bottle or cup or something and pour a cup worth of water in. Place your other bag in and the last cup of water. Sit in the fridge for at least 3-5 hours. Once done, pop in some ice cubes and lovely fruit.

Easy, perfect for a cute simple day :)

Yoko Ono: War is Over (If you want)

Yesterday I checked out the Museum of Contemporary Art in the city and visit the Yoko Ono exhibition. I have to say on my behalf, I really enjoyed it and it had interactive art pieces that was the highlight of the exhibition. One of them was you write a little note to your mum's which was super cute and had so many on the war including pictures. I don't have a picture of it as it's on my phone but here's a picture of a massive wall with heaps of posters on it. The picture on the right was a room full of doors and Japanese graffiti on the war, pretty effective. The last one wasn't in the exhibition but I thought was pretty tumblr worthy hehe. Although my mum thought it wasn't art (she's old fashioned) I thought it was pretty rad and you should definitely go check it out! xx jess

Twenty Fourteen

Even though new years was exactly four days ago, I already have a good vibe about this year. Last year sucked for me, starting high school and lot of other silly complications. But I have realised that even though sometimes you may think that you are having a bad day, something through out that day you have done has all come down to that thought. You could of forgotten your books at homes for studies or had a bad fight with your friends, but whatever it is. It could of been better if you had done something about it, like remembering to bring your books or perhaps kept a quiet space away from your friend for a bit. Whatever it comes down to, nobody has good/bad luck within them so don't think that, it's a negative thought !

I really adore this quote as it basically outlines our human society, how we should be peaceful at all times and acknowledge our surroundings. Perhaps try to practice this over the years to come and see how you can be peaceful even at the worst of times, but it's totally natural to cry or get angry at something you cannot control, that's what we are functioned to do!

I hope this gave you a bit of thought and to try to find your inner self :)

Just a few

So recently, I have been into fashion a lot more now. I really don't know why, just all the creations you can put together with an outfit or all the pretty material, who knows? I have put together some trendsetters, just five of 2013 as we are creepin' towards 2014 quickly now.
- Windsor Smith shoes; these really basic but funky chunky shoes are really good for scandal use and appealing.
- Overalls; denim or leather, overalls are back and are looking mint and go with a basic tee.
- Mesh Tees; these see through shirts might reveal a tad more but go really well with shorts or a skirt, simple.
- Plaid; from jackets to skirts, the quirky plaid material is a vintage trendsetter and now is styled with denim or basic colours.
- Long t-shirts/singlets; they go well with tights or can be worn with shorts underneath but these shirts come in so many designs in so many stores.
